The LIV / YOUTUBE collaboration is going to payoff greatly.
LIV has found it's followers and those are different from the PGA has always had. Fair enough. And LIV players will likely get OWGR but they will have to accept that points for winning LIV events wont equal points awarded PGA events. It will take more than Cam Smith's admission that LIV lacks the PGA's depth of field for supporters to stop whining.
first of all who's this Hubbard fellow. Interview a top 20 golfer, not some guy i never heard ranked 133.
Mark Hubbard makes a great point that the Ryder cup is not a pga tour thing so it should be ok to qualify.
But Another translation here is Mark doesn’t care about Ryder cup because he likely won’t be there (as in the interview he clearly puts himself in a lower tier as if it’s forever which is sad for him to not believe he will be a top level star soon).
Mark has a problem with them LIv boys coming back to the tour to cramp his journeyman style.
But then at the same time he is saying he likes the pga tour not for the money but because it’s high level competition.
All over the place.
The fact is golf is in a great spot despite the continued fear mongering for golf as LIv comes up.
And it will be even better when more stars are on LIv and the tours biggest events.
About time someone stated the obvious!
Without LIV players the Ryder cup is meaningless.
