– Make sure your target resembles a hole (you are not trying to knock this target down, just tap it which should then fall in a real hole)
– The gate for the ball to roll through; make sure it is far enough away from the ball so you don’t strike the gate on the follow-through, also it should be just a little wider than the ball
– The gate behind the ball; wide enough for your putter to fit through, make sure it resembles a train track, with the ball being in the middle of that track
