Aaron Wan Bissaka’s incredible development this season is a testament to his hard work and Erik ten Hag’s coaching, so much so that he might earn himself a new Manchester United contract.

Wan Bissaka is the perfect example of how a player can develop and get you to change your opinion of them. There’s nothing wrong with a changed opinion when more evidence and developments happen and that’s an important point to make.

Big up to Wan Bissaka for how much he’s improved, he deserves more praise for that.

  1. Wan Bissaka is the perfect example of how a player can develop and get you to change your opinion of them. There's nothing wrong with a changed opinion when more evidence and developments happen and that's an important point to make.

Big up to Wan Bissaka for how much he's improved, he deserves more praise for that.

  2. First of all, how many top rb has Maddison played against!? 😂 don't get me wrong. I love Wan Bissaka &_his improvement. Just not listening to those words. Second thing, don't think we need any new full-backs this summer. Utd still have promising, talented Fernandez & Laird playing on loan. Sell Telles, Bailly, Tuanzebe, Williams, Maguire and buy 1 young, powerful cb & promote 1 more from our academy. I think that's good for our defence

  3. Nooo please ! WB has to stay. He has improved tremendously. Selling him would be a HUGE mistake ! And WB will improve more and I bet he'll become one of the world's finest FB's.

  4. Do you remember that even Mbappe couldn't get past when utd play psg. It would be the worst idea to sell such a talent. Is utd not planning on competing with the biggest teams in europe in the future? You tell me who else in all of europe that do what he does defensively?

  5. Ten Hag didn't develop him.
He has been like this before he was signed from Crystal Palace.

He's so good just than earlier this season many of you don't have eyes to Know who he's is.
Thinking that Dalot is than him.

  6. Linderlouf proved who is the problems at the back….. I feel sorry for Maguire his foot is a bad luck to our team..

  7. Defending has never been his problem. His problem was and is still his passing, control and crossing abilities. He is still the same, nothing has changed.

  8. Never been so easy
You think Dalot is a good attacking RB huh?
How many assists does he have????
    How many goals???????
    How many opportunities created???
Check out those stats and see that he is bang average.

    Sell Dalot, bring in Frimpong.

  9. Ole's Coaching helped destroy Bissaka where he had to play so central and he sometimes looked lost. If he had gone to City with real coaching people would be talking about him being at the level of Ashley Cole by now. He went backwards and we only saw glimpses (like against Neymar and Mbappe). He is potentially one of the best full back around and a joy to watch

  10. There are so many positives; he's absolutely brilliant in a 1 on 1 foot race, even when he's beaten for pace he can still get that perfectly timed, clean sliding tackle in, and he's improved massively in moving into areas of space to provide more angles and passing options, beating the press and carrying the ball forward, beating multiple opposition defenders and crossing/cutting back.

The amount of progress he has made is extraordinary when you consider how little coaching time has been available in a season where we played in four, then three competitions until last week and lost 6 weeks to the World Cup and the death of the Queen.

On the negative side Aaron needs to improve his focus and concentration when defending the ball over the top from long diagonal passes out to the flank and especially at set pieces where he never seems to pick up defenders runs, particularly at the back post; he continually gets caught out because he lacks the instinct to scan what's going on around him and ball watches; however if the Coaching team can sort that out I think he could become a genuine United mainstay and even finish his career at the club. I would 100% keep him and Dalot but for the money being quoted I wouldn't say no to also bringing in Frimpong to play as competition for Anthony and as a back up to Aaron and Dalot.

Dalot has shown that he can play at left back and Shaw has been so impressive as a stand in CB that I think he and Lindelof could form a great back up pairing to give Varane and Martinez a break and play the domestic cup games without the obvious drop in quality and confidence that occurs whenever Maguire plays.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dalot develops into a bit of an all rounder as he's very intelligent, absolutely rapid and a formidable unit, he reminds me a lot of (a quicker) John O'Shea.

For me (Maguire apart) Malacia is very much the weak link in the back four, he looks very uncomfortable and is easy to outwit and draw fouls from. He's very young, has tons of energy and was cheap as chips so I wouldn't write him off in his first season in what is a very tough league. I'd be very interested to see if he could be developed to play a disruptive pressing role similar to the way Fred (who is now 30) plays but I don't trust him at LB and playing him and Martinez together is just asking for the opposition to bombard that side of the pitch with balls over the top and playing Dalot and Shaw as a LB/LCB pairing would give me a lot more confidence.

  11. I need a reaction on ETH's team selection. My comment is all about Eriksen and Casamiro especially against strong Midfield this combination is not workable at all but the coach keeps starting the same players why? We only play best Midfield when Fred starts with Casamiro in the Midfield we play strong and attaching football. AWB no doubt is the best we have and should always start.

  12. There teams u can't win without playing one to one football teams like Man City if you don't mark De brune, Gundugan, and Halaad you can't win the game.

  13. We need 2 players per position. 3 keepers obviously. And then this can be the situation weekly. And a couple more versatile players.

I think WAB tackles like no one else. He is using his brain and quick feet to get into pace. We all know that his crossing has a long way to go. Keep both. Simple. Improving well. Ok so right back is sorted. Now the rest of the squad. Lastly, how much will we have to offer clubs to take Maguire? 40 – 50 million. I'm sure one club would take a player if we offer him and cash. SURELY

  14. Best defender at the club. Still younger with room to improve. Hard to take the ball off of him. Strong and is always available for selection. Humble.

  15. If He shuts Down the likes of Mahrez and jack grealish in the final then there will be no more doubt from the Thomases

  16. Dalot is not half the defender AWB is. Can't jump, can't mark one on one. And they say he contributes to the attack. How many assists or goals has Dalot had since joining United? Go figure
