I was thinking about the weeks leading up to both Micahs and Grants departure. I came to the conclusion that they didn’t like the golf that was being played at the time. Good good was doing a lot of videos and challenges where you only play 4 or 6 holes and I’m sure with the amount of players it took 3 hours to do so. That type of filming would get to me as well. I think Micah and Grant just wanted to play golf. No gimmicks, just competition and holes played in a timely manner. Even now, you don’t see Micah or Grant playing a 4v4 scramble to often. It’s normally a 2v2 or 1v1 in stroke or match play.
I think I came across Garrett's videos at the very start of his career. Pretty sure he was in high school at the time. I remember thinking "I don't want to watch this arrogant young pr@#k" playing golf. I'd say in those five or six years since I first saw one of his videos, he's probably matured twenty years. He's really handled the Micah/Grant departure well, at least publicly. I suppose he could be ranting about it non-stop off camera, but I sorta doubt that.
Knowing how much Good Good makes. Why don't they do more for the fans that are making them the money. They don't do give aways or anything with their fans. It's sad
First time? They made a whole podcast video about it.
Money is the biggest factor here. They want 100% of the money coming in on their channels.
Pentagon
Not sure I see the "mature beyond his years" that everyone else sees… I see someone who has spent time with the lawyers and public relations guys and said what he was trained to say. He still threw a jab suggesting it was about money when clearly the other two want to make a different kind of content. I watch all of these guys, but the only one I see fondly remembering the others is Grant. Good for Garrett for not being a dick about it, but this was a rehearsed response at best. No authenticity to it at all in my opinion…
Don't tell me that Grant and Micah won't have to eventually travel in order to promote their own brand ..but ..like you say ..they wanted to be able to do that on their own terms ..which is fine ..shake hands and move on
I don’t think any guy would say no to leaving the wife for a week each month to play golf and make a lot of money. the wives might be saying that.
Micah and Grant are dull as dishwater.
Good good riddance.
Good Good was holding them back, simple as that
Starting following Garret with Bro Five I think I was with Brody Smith. That fell apart now this big break up. Idk, love the content but something definitely seems off with how the business side gets run maybe.
Both micha and grant left because they know they can do more for themselves than good good could for them. They are alphas being asked to to tame their earning potential by staying with good good; that was never going to fly. The rest of the good good cast needs Garrett and the pulling power of the good good brand to be significant; they would be insignificant otherwise. Neither one of the remaining cast members have the
personality/golf talent combo to make it on their own like micha and grant have. In the end Garrett is right; there is room for everyone in this space and competition is only going to force all parties to step up their games.
Love the hat!
Garrett mature for his years!? 😂 what planet you smoking that stuff on? He’s the most immature of the group.
I would love to see a match with Garret & Luke vs BustaJack and Micah and grant…….one day
Matt makes it work…Kwon makes it work
Hi guys I would like to thank you for bringing back my passion for golf cheers Phillip Taylor of Huntingdale Western Australia PS you guys rock keep up the great work
Tig is his cousin so of course he’s going to be civil about it
Someone can be mature on screen but not off screen. I love the good good guys but a video does not show their true personalities w
This controversy is part of the business model. Gaslighting for profit
These guys have all really been gentlemen about the split. Maybe there was nothing contentious about the parting of ways at all. These are really young guys, and as you mature into things like getting married and becoming a very successful business person, your priorities can change. So maybe these guys aren't keeping their drama behind the scenes. Maybe there just isn't any drama at all. We all have friends who have taken different paths, chose different careers or companies, had families, etc. We try to keep in touch, but we just aren't as tight as we were when we were young. That's ok, and nobody is mad or sad about it. It's life, and it happens.
Buddy!!!
You can just tell Garret was raised right!.! A true genuine kind hearted guy and that goes for the rest of the Good Good squad Bubbie Matt Steven quan and etc such a pleasure to watch there content!!! And we can’t forget Max & Collin!!
