Re: Dairon Asprilla as a Timber's Legend.
Depends on your definition of club legend. He's not going to be a ring of honor player, but I could see him being a Futty Danso type. Fan favorite whose exploits are remembered long after he leaves. The problem is that for several seasons he was largely invisible outside of the occasional playoff or Cascadia golazo. Wasn't really until 2021 when he started to be consistently good.

@20:49 That's actually incorrect. Velas was already the leading goal scorer with 10 to zlatans 9. Vela now has 12 with the two scored on sunday.

These are some of the worst football pundits ever. Stick to calling it soccer cause your knowledge about football is non existent
The quality of the MLS are really ascending to new heights. However, it seems the refeeres are still learning what the rules of soccer is. I live in Europe, and if a refeere would do any of the blatant mistakes we see in MLS each week over here, it's an automatic demotion to the lower leagues for 3-4 rounds. But Matt does Matt things, so there at least is some justice in the world.

I don't agree that Seattle controlled the game for 70 minutes. Going into half time Portland had more shots on goal. They were going toe to toe. The first 20 minutes of the second half I would agree, the Sounders had the Timbers on the back foot…..until Asprilla's goal.

I believe Jeremy Ebobise created some sort of divide in the locker room, when he was with the team, it didn’t feel connected as a group, and it felt more connected once he left. I’m sure he could’ve been good, but he didn’t do good when we played him
The funny part is they are not bad defensively. Very few goals against them come from the run of play
