Xavi Hernandez believes that Real Madrid will be favourites when Barcelona host their arch rivals in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final on Wednesday.
‘Barca’ – the most successful club in the history of the competition with 31 titles – won the first leg at Estadio Bernabeu 1-0, but Xavi Hernandez believes Real’s recent experience of fighting back to win major knockout matches will give Carlo Ancelotti’s side the edge at Camp Nou.
Real came from behind to win their round of 16, quarter-final and semi-final ties in last season’s Champions League, overcoming big guns Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City on the way to a 14th title.
