  1. Have the 425 max. I don’t see a reason to change to the 430. The 425 noise doesn’t bother me and I’ve not needed to touch the settings since I was fitted for it. I had a Cobra Speedzone originally and made the mistake of changing to the Radspeed. Got rid of that for the 425 and sticking.

  2. I bought stealth. It wasn’t forgiving. I tried stealth 2 plus, it was much more forgiving. I went two days in a row and tried stealth 2 plus versus ping. I saw significant gains of Taylormade over ping. I was hoping ping would win, based on feel. But stealth 2 plus way out performed the ping for me by a lot.

  3. I tried every new driver at a Club Champion fitting with many different shaft combinations. The winner for me was the Ping 340 max 10.5 with a Mitsubishi vanquish R2 shaft. The combination is extremely forgiving and long. The stealth came in a very close second but wasn't as forgiven for me. All for the insane price of around $970.00.

  4. Mark, I bought the Costco Edge set as I am just getting back into golf after being away for several years due to back surgeries. I figured I could get an entirely new set for the price of the driver for now. I have never had an adjustable driver before, my question is how long until I should start looking that way? Appreciate the content as always.

  5. I recently got fitted into the Ping G430 Max driver. I have to say it was close between that and the TSR3, however dispersion was the winner and the ping was amazing in that respect as well as distance for me. CB 65 Chrome shaft really was the game changer. TM was nice but its all about personal choice when it comes to look and feel.

  6. Tried both at a fitting along with the paradym last week…walked away with a Wilson dynapower carbon head..what a driver..what feel off the face and the flight was piercing..replaces my G425 as normally a ping man but 🤔🤔 I likened the face strike off the Wilson to sticking your nose into a marshmallow and being hit by a howitzer propelling u back out at speed..superb

  7. Studio videos are more entertaining with your sidekick & playing some sort of game… Is he still kicking around somewhere? Haha

  8. Stealth is for people who wear white belts and spend a little to much on hair products. Ping is for people slightly overweight with an electric trolley.

  9. The Ping is in my bag as I prefer a heavier head, and that's how Ping gets the best MOI numbers. My ping head weights in at 206g. It stops me getting to quick away from the ball, which is a bad habit of mine. I also bought Stealth² as I like to do on course head 2 head, and whilst I preferred the looks and sound of the TM, the Ping was much more consistent in front to back dispersion for me. I play off plus 1 and I reckon over a season the ping will give me better results

  10. I recently went through a driver fitting and I was surprised by the results after hitting 6 different drivers in the process. I ended up hitting the Stealth 2 HD significantly better in all categories. The Mizuno ST-Z 230 had the next best results followed closely by the Ping G 430 Max; and nothing else was close. Carry distance and total distance was what separated the Stealth and Mizuno, dispersion was equal. The biggest surprise that for me was that my mishits were significantly better with the Stealth than the Ping, and this is coming from someone who has played Ping drivers mostly. Based on what I liked the looks of best, the TSR 2 was what I thought I would end up with. And to be honest the TM wasn’t even something I was thinking about. But I’ve listened here enough to know to let the fitter do their job. Thanks Mark, as always your content is appreciated.

  11. I hate the red face, looks like a sticker youre supposed to rip off before using it. But TM makes great drivers and woods but so does Ping.

  12. If you had the Diamana BB at 44.75, softstepped 3 times in TX at D5 sw, you would hit it 20 yards longer 😂

  13. The Ping G430 Max was the driver for me. It's no longer than my Sim 2 but the dispersion was better. I really don't like the "flat" sound from carbon-faced drivers. That metallic sound of the Ping gives plenty of feedback and sounds sweetest when you catch it in the middle.

  14. I went for a paid fitting and after about an hour of trying drivers I was fitted for the Ping G430 max. Love the driver

  15. Switched from the Titleist TSI3 to the Ping 430Max for a little bit of help on mishit shots and surprisingly the spin numbers are not that high. Maybe I should continue to steer clear of low spinning heads.

  16. Why is it the square drivers didn't work? I'm asking in terms of functionality, as opposed to popularity

  17. Been to the National fitting centres for Callaway, Titleist and also had full fittings for the Ping and Stealth. For me the TM was a clear winner. Get fit people

  18. old ping to new ping I agree with you about not needing to change…. but the stealth 2 is way more forgiving. the stealth was brutal. that said I had a g425 and now I have a g425 on the way… the sound and feel is just way too good!!

  19. The price point is interesting on this as in Australia the Ping is actually constantly 100-150 AUD more expensive and rarely goes on sale where the TaylorMade is constantly on sale 15-25% off retail price, in saying that I'd go ping

  20. I don’t rate the quality is there with the TaylorMade. My carbon crown 👑came off and it’s plastic looking and cheap. The ping is forgiving and built to last.

  21. Hi Mark, great comparison. Usually you don’t mention price of clubs and it’s funny you do this time. In Australia the Ping equipment is always towards the top end of the price bracket. They don’t follow the TM model of slashing prices within 18 months either when a new product is released.

  22. I have the Ping G430 only because I drew John Rahm in my club’s Masters sweepstake and collected it as my prize! Some you win….
