    I started fidgeting with the Spyderco Salt 2 I had in my pocket right before you started talking about Spyderco. haha – I like Spydercos for "work in the yard" days because they can take a beating.

    Been back in the knife game for 2 years. Don't know how to describe it but I can't stop buying new ones lately. I always thought Kershaw had a great bang for the buck, look at the Link in 20cv. Think I paid 73 for that.

    You said it right. Spyderco are damn ugly. Thus I son’t like them not matter how good their steel. I will never buy one. I was gifted few of the. They are setting collecting dust 😂😂😂😂😂

    The first knife I recall where I went:"oooh, that sounds nice!", was my first introduction to Buck. It was long ago and obviously I have heard about the brand, but have never experienced one. I found a 112 at a local hardware shop second hand. It seemed like it was in terrible condition, however I could see it was just verry dirty and gunked up. Back then I was a student and couldn't afford almost any 'brand name' knife. It was like a quarter of the price of a new one, so I immediately bought it. I cleaned it up and it was actually almost as good as new, still shaving arm hairs. But when I opened it after cleaning! That thwack sound of the lock! It was the sound of pure quality! Long after that I got into Cold Steel and still love how a good strong lock back sounds!
