Colts have a chance to draft Stroud, but choose to give Stroud to Baltimore for Lamar, give up the 2024 1st and put 40% of the salary cap into his contract.
When we could just draft Stroud at #4, use his rookie contract to add talent around him, and possibly use that 2024 1st for his best weapon (Marvin Harrison).

If the Patriots take Anthony Richardson at 14 when we have so many other issues, i’d kinda be pissed ngl. We could draft Broderick there to fill the tackle need, we could move down and get one of the 4 stud wrs like Addison, Johnston, Flowers, or Njigba. Mac is in the hot seat i’m not gonna deny that, but with the 14th pick in the draft to go QB is a spit in the face to Mac for having to deal with a special teams coach as a QB coach and defensive coordinator for his offensive coordinator. I don’t know, Mac’s rookie season was good enough that I want to give him another chance and use the very high pick of 14 to do something that’ll be special for him. If he doesn’t perform well in year 3, that’s when the Pats should abandon ship and do a trade up for next year’s draft at QB. Caleb Williams would be a fantastic edition to the Pats if Mac doesn’t pan out this season. Idk I like Anthony Richardson and he will be extremely entertaining in the pros but I just feel it’s the wrong move at 14.
