  1. New driver, new short shaft (44 ‘’) , full bag of confidence …..happy life ? Must be. I would love to have him as a golf companion.

  2. I kept seeing videos about how he wasn't getting along with the stealth 2…guess hes getting used to it!

  3. Downhill downwind cart path firm fairway. I don’t know why they make a big deal out of these. They act like the ball speed is 15mph faster than usual. He’s been hitting mid 180s ball speed for along time now as well as many others.

  4. Good example of why most golf courses,
    unless they narrow the fairways
and allow the rough to grow
    (this rather than nerfing balls),
are basically obsolete for most pros.
Most holes are a driver and a wedge, or less.

    They love to showcase Rory
    as Bryson DeChambeau
    and other long hitters
are no longer with the PGA.

  5. If the ball was rolled back it would have went 325-340 this is why he favors rolling the ball back. It doesn't affect him as it does others. Going to be interesting that's for sure.

  6. There's nothing more cringe than someone screaming ''get in the hole!!'' after a drive…, it was funny 25 years ago but not anymore

  7. Although this was striped down the middle, it's time American courses stopped being pretty and mown down everywhere. Let the rough grow out properly. I've seen some wayward drives on telly and the commentators say it's in the rough. Yet you can still see half the bloomin ball. Courses in Ireland where I live that would be the first cut. The rough is mid shin. So you are properly penalised. The pro's just tee it up and thump it as far as they can at most courses now as there is no real penalty for missing a fairway. Courses should also narrow fairways far more. Jeez when I played I was a high teen handicapper. Don't think i've ever missed a fairway as far as some of the pros do. I'd of been embarrassed to miss one by 40-80 yards. Which I see the best players do regularly. Distance is and will destroy the game. Not every old course has the land to move tee boxes back. In 10 years the players will run amock on older courses. Driving a par 4 will be a common occurance. It used to be risk/reward. But now there is less risk than ever. Imagine you designed that hole 10 years ago. You would be imagining a really great drive would leave a 6/7 iron to the green. Not a flip with a wedge.
