All I ever want to see from Misaki is to put up a brave fight vs the XD giants, and fight see did. Finally. The commentary – Misaki “gets one” on Huang – is satisfying to hear

The chinese have spotted the backhand side of Misaki defense being played with a forehand grip resulting is weak replies. This area should be played with a backhand grip.
Misaki service have improved since last time I watched her in this tourney, even managing to score few winners to Zheng returns.
Kaneko appart from lacking smash power need also to bring some deception into the mid court so he can pass Huang without having to lift.
The lack of power or technical creativity from Kaneko prevents Misaki experience at the net to be activated. (in other words the talent is wasted)
Zheng and Huang know there is nothing on the arsenal of their opponent to cause problems for them specially since Huang front court play cause the momentum to swing into their favor when the Japanese find a good start.
