  3. This will be my first real cut and I'm starting around 10-12% body fat so I really appreciate the tips for maintaining strength. Hoping a real cut this summer will motivate me to do a good bulk in the fall.

  5. I don't know how it works but I've managed to stay in between 130-140 lbs bodyweight while nearly doubling my strength and getting leaner over the course of 3 years

  7. 1. don't go to agressive on the cut (take your time)
    2. set realistic goals, lower 5-10(max)% of total body weight
    3. the benefit: lowering body weight but keeping your strength is a form of getting stronger

  8. Thanks for the advice! Here I am again haha but. Got a dillema is it worth to cut? If I had to guess I am at 18%+ bf 185lbs/85kg 17 yr old, been training SERIOUSLY for the past 2 years my sbd is atm: S around 230-250lbs/105-120kg, B 165lbs/around 70kg and D 315/140kg so I would assume I'm a beginner. Training for powerlifting and kind of aesthetics a bit so powerbuilding I guess. Been kind of clean/lean bulking ever since I started going to the gym (3 years). I always wanted to achieve 90kg/190lbs bodyweight (coming from a 63kg/138lbs bodyweight). Would it be worth it to cut especially now with Ramadan coming up for me? In my opinion I think I should do it like what's the worst that could happen other than my strength dropping which is already likely gonna happen because of Ramadan. Eating around 3k-3.3k calories atm probably slowly gonna cut down on calories now untill ramadan starts and then eat around 2.6k-2.7(ish)k calories.

  9. Okay but what about doing a mini cut mid bulk? I'm planning on doing one soon for about 3-4 weeks. I wanne keep my strength whilst losing some body, and wanne keep my workouts productive. Planning on saving my carbs for pre and post workout to have plenty of energy and keeping my protein intake just as high or even higher than I'm doing currently.
