This conversation with Dame is one of the best ones we’ve ever had. We go deeper into conversations about life, competition and fulfillment. We also dig deep into scoring and shooting mechanics. Just an awesome interview with an awesome guy. The full thing drops first thing tomorrow morning so subscribe if you haven’t. Thanks for watching.
He said, what all of us had been saying for years. The NBA looks like a bunch of immature kids running around with no structure.
Houston is a perfect example
Oscar Robertson was way better.
❤ I love the fact that he mentioned competition. He said so many things that players should prioritize but to keep this short. He gets the most respect from me and those who truly understand competition and championships. I'm so happy that he's so well grounded.
I've always respected Dame, but after this, he's my favorite active NBA player! Spot on man! Respect!
You simply can’t blame the players for load management issues. When all we do is glorify stats and championships, the regular season is filled with essentially meaningless games. Players are wise’ing up. Starting at the rookie level. Give these guys an incentive to start playing/winning and your level of basketball product will improve.
Dame has also made a career off of dominating those meaningless games with a few playoff highlights as well. Don’t hate the player though, hate the game 🤷🏻♂️
They dont think about MJ?? really?!?!
bruh, jared jeffries was 31 on the blazers and earl watson was 34….
Real recognize real and you looking familiar Dame
NBA is a reflection of our society as a whole.
Dame a real one, love this guy!
ESPN has done sports no favors…talk about entitled
This is the Bronification of the NBA. They already talking about who is the next Bron
We got to appreciate Damian Lillard while he's still in the league man ! True dedication to the sport, true leadership off the court, half a billion dollars in earnings and still humble. Got to love Damian Lillard 💪🏾💪🏾🤙🏾
Sounds like he has genuine family and friends in his life who have no nefarious agendas which is such a blessing for someone in his position, and something that seems rare for a lot of the younger stars coming into the league. I love that he can kick it with his cousins and talk about normal non-NBA friendship stuff. Must be a big reason he's so grounded and at peace with his life.
I was watchin a lakers game the other day and i saw the weakest foul be called a flagriant foul. NBA has gone PG and thats y teams are scoring so many points now, there's less defense.
Dame is the most slept on player ever, that’s why ring talk be cap people say this player is better cause he has 2 more rings but discredit the dude with 11 rings lmao
What he's talking about is this: ORDER. There is no more order in the league, no vets that cultivate, no rookies that push spark the mentorship of the vets, and then no more love of the game – the players have been sucked into the hype and culture built by the business and characatures of the league.
Dame did not leave Portland because he did not want that pressure.
Nah they do talk about Micheal Jordan
It really is entitlement. Look at the Grizzlies, if they had that vet presence who knows if they'd be in headlines as much as they are now
Damn, this guy understood everything!!!
The part where dame talks about hes having a real life is something everyone should hear.
