bought a watch 5 pro and have had nothing but problems with it, it is region locked and won't activate in france even after buying it unlocked in the USA, yet they say it will roam internationally and it won't even activate it says "no plans available in your country", ECG and blood pressure DO NOT WORK outside the USA neither….really disappointed with Samsung and they have lost my trust now, this is the last Samsung product I will buy, I feel ripped off.

My wife is an iPhone and apple watch user, I really appreciate how smooth the devices are but I just can't see myself using these apple products, android has so many conveniences I wouldn't give up.

Android cannot compete in any shape way or form with apple watches, first of all, the most basic thing, the heart rate monitor … watch the testing on YouTube. Apple watches are just as good or very close to a chest strap, Android watches are horrible and I have owned them all Samsung watches, Garmin, etc.
I'll say right off the bat I own an Android so I have no dog in this race, honestly I miss my apple watch so much I'm probably going to buy a cheap series 7 or 8 Apple phone and just connect the ultra watch to it and only use the watch, no more phone
The major problem with Apple is that even after you BUY their crazy expensive crap you truly DON'T own it! You're basically just borrowing it from them because you will never be able to repair Apple crap and when you try to like let's say the screen, you lose features even if you buy the SAME exact Apple screen.. With my Samsung, I actually OWN it and do whatever I want to it and replace any part I may need to, and it'll just WORK, unlike crApple!!
I believe the Samsung watch works with both Android and Iphone, but no way would Apple allow their watch to work with Android 😂 I have had a Samsung Note 10 for 3 years and still works as if it was new, Battery life, software updates but try that with an Iphone, after 2 years the battery life has depleted and you will be lucky if Apple will support any updates. I used to be a huge Iphone fan but they are just a fashion accessory and most of the time playing catch up to Android phones.

I was interested in Galaxy Watch 5 Pro (the LTE version) but I changed my mind and bought Garmin Epix Gen 2 instead. Very pricey but necessary for my health.

You can use the GW 5 with any Android phone though, not just Samsung, for the most part.

Gw5 is a waste of money. It's a poor watch first of all. Also a bad phone, a bad pda and a bad health tracker. It likely only excels at spying on the user.

The Apple on it's own isn't bad looking but it's quite ugly compared to the Samsung. It's nice going from the gym to work to an off site meeting to a nice restaurant to playing with the dogs and never having to change your watch. I was an Apple snob at one time, but twice the price for something that's has the same functionality and isn't as nice to look at all day is kind of hard to justify even as a fan boy. Especially with all the apps for the 5 Pro makes the functionality look and feel seem endless.
How about the super duper quadruple pro ultra plus model!

I'm about to recieve my Samsung Galaxy 5 Pro and I can't wait! First off, I don't like Apple and it's proprietary nature. Second, I notice that with the Samsung watches in general, Apple watch users stop me to see it, because it's not SQUARE it's ROUND! It is amazing how many Apple watch users dislike the square configuration! While there are nice features on the Apple watch, the Galaxy has everything I need and then some. Just waiting, got all the apps installed on my Samsung Galaxy S20 Note Ultra phone already, it will just be getting everything configured that's next…WHEW!
