  1. We love disc golf and we tip our hats to this awesome man!!! Thank you for all you do, sir.

  2. Probably my favorite interview from you thus far. I can see great strides made in your personal style of questioning. Holla at ya!!

  3. In the beginnings of this project, I was invited to contribute. It was all new everything, including the concept, itself. Nobody could imagine his vision, and nobody ever got the time to know him because he was always on the move, and ten steps ahead of everyone. We needed this interview because we learned more, in one hour, than we have learned in 3 years, about him, and the courses. He does not have time for chat and small talk, so, we appreciate this access, and interview. I have been questioned, many times, about the course#1, and I could not explain it all because it was Phil's big visionary concept. It is like a constant construction site. with big machines working full time. Phil explains the reasons to go to the course. (s)
I stood out there one night, Big money skins in town, the thousands of markers lit up, the clear sky full of stars, and the view across 20 acres of land was simply awe inspiring, and amazing. It was unbelievable. This interview helps me to explain, to people, that This IS a place to go where you will not see anything else like it anywhere else in the world. He has achieved that. If You have the opportunity, this is a course that You want on your list.
Ive played both courses in their rough stage, and could not imagine what it has become. The 2nd course is a direct contrast to the first one. #1 is very highly produced and manufactured, where #2 is much more raw and natural setting. Many people have asked me about behind the scenes details and I could never explain it all. This interview answers every question that I have ever been asked about the course.(s) Thank You for taking the time, and laying out the vision for the future.

  4. I don't think his course is far superior just because he put a bunch of money into it…there are plenty of other courses just as cool that were done by volunteers and very little money. This guy keeps saying no one else has anything like it but that's because they're not rich haha.

  5. Has anyone played flyboy aviation in Georgia… bed and breakfast cabins ect.. stellar course also has a par 3 course… it has been maybe ten years or so since I have played it… need a reservation
I understand about traveling through a state and you just have to stop in and play alot like the Appling GA

  6. I appreciate the efforts into making a world class disc golf destination, but this guy reminds me of a big orange fuzzy guy. “It’s the best of the best, I’ve got to have the best!” He should be happy being #6 on the course rankings for how little time it’s been open.

  7. So Eagles Crossing was supposed to be a MAGA training camp? I’d say it took a turn for the better 😂

  8. Hey Luke, the next time you're at Eagles Crossing, can you check the pile of lost discs in the Pro Shop? I lost an Axiom Fission Defy on hole one! Straight into the cattails at the front edge of the pond. Thanks!

  9. Hornings Hideout in Hillsboro Oregon has 3 courses and camping, and facilities too. Sounds like what he's envisioning. Great interview Luke. You're a fantastic conversationalist 😊👌👊

  10. Good video, we have a few properties here in Belize that are building up with resorts onsite or nearby. We host PDGA events nearly every month of the year somewhere in the country as well

  11. I can't wait to play it, I had planned on making it my 1500th course, but now that I know there are going to be 2 courses, I may wait a little longer to play it.

  12. Saw him on the coverage of Vegas…….This guy is probably traveling to every ET event this year learning………obviously this guy wants to have worlds there…….I think he'll get it

  13. Played Eagles crossing on my birthday last year, as an extremely average player I shot +9 and felt great about getting mauled there. Glad its a fairly short drive from me as I can't wait for the new 18. Thanks Mr.Samuels for putting in another gem of a course here in missouri!

  14. Philip! We appreciate you, your efforts, and your talent! I have personally played the course and I hope your wife knows how much myself and friends enjoyed it!!

  15. Nice interview! My questions is… if you're going for the best of everything, why install those horrible Gateway baskets?

  16. Great vision, its so nice to hear the background story of a visionary entrepreneur in Disc Golf! Eagles Crossing course was definitely meant to be and you help many disc golfers enjoy the game in a beautiful environment. How fantastic to have this passion and taking the risk for investing in DG. So much work and passion! Thank you for this Phillip! I think many people are grateful for what you have done.
