Comparison of the Simon Lizotte Axiom Hex Vs Paul McBeth Discraft Buzzz. 10 shots, all different angles, showing you the different lines they fly on. Which stamp do you prefer of the two? I like the Lizottl’ the most.

  1. The Hex is generally more understable than both the buzzz and the Pathfinder, but the glow (eclipse) plastic makes MVP/axiom discs more overstable than their other plastic variants. The Pathfinder and the buzzz fly nearly identical for me, though the buzzz fades a little more near the end of flight.

  2. I've been bagging a buzzz basically since I started playing back in July. I bought both of these discs today. I appreciate the comparison video since I haven't been able to throw them yet. Looking forward to stuffing them both into the bag.

  3. Hex isn't more understable it just has less low speed fade (holds longer at low air speed before dumping) because of Gyro…no joke.

  4. I feel like the gyro technology is a lot more noticable on slower speed discs. Hex flies noticably further for me but with the buzzz I have a lot more distance control.
But then again I feel like I can just disc down to an envy/proxy for the controlled shots I would normally use a buzzz for.

  5. I have thrown the Buzzz but I'm really liking the Hex and have been throwing it the past 2 years. It's starting to get more understable but very reliable fade

  6. Thrown both and bag the hex. They are both the best Axiom/Discraft have in the mid slot.
No real loser here. Simply feel preference in my MA4 opinion.

  7. One thing that isn't close is how much cooler the hex stamp is. I'm really not feeling the 6x claw stamp design. It's kinda boring

  8. I used to throw a buzz, but hex kicked it out. I now use a fission hex and a glow hex. The fission likes to flip and turn a healthy amount before fading, the eclipse will flip to flat and ride the line forever before fading out. Love it

  9. I bag both hex and buzzz, hex has more glide and a little flip buzzzs are a touch more stable and want to get to the ground faster 😎

  10. I bag a Hex and a Buzz, but my Buzz is over 20 years old, pre flight numbers even. It doesn't really turn much at all, but the way it's broken in is that it doesn't fade at the end. It finishes perfectly straight. I use them for different flights, because the Hex does fade some.

  11. You gotta punch in on the release and flight. Can't see the disc once it leaves your hand untill it lands. Either way love the content

  12. I have 3 hexs
161 grams nutron understable and beaten in
177 grams glow new slightly overstable
176 grams nutron neutral on stability range slightly beat in

  13. I also throw a glow pathfinder but I did switch to the glow hex after the space race hex came out. I prefer the glow hex which I think is exactly the same as the Simon Hex. It feels a lot like my reactor and with MVP, you’ve got so much variation. Cool idea for a vid. Looks like we started around the same time! All the best with your channel!

  14. I've thrown both I loved the buzz but the hex took the buzz out of my bag and I'd agree the hex I'd a tad understable then the buzz the hex fits my hand better I think it all comes down to how it feels

  15. I’m a big Buzzz fan. It would take a pretty special disc to knock my Buzzzes out of my bag.

  16. I never wanted a flight tracker more, but I've thrown a Buzzz more than 10 yrs and a Hex for 1yr. I would agree exactly with your assessment even though I couldn't see the flights. Buzzz is slightly more stable & maybe shorter than hex, but more reliable esp in wind
