The guy had a DC calling plays and sophomore slump. Let him cook lol
I'll give him one more chance to prove he got what it takes ….Surround him with weapons..when he was at Bama he had hell of weapons and dominated
It wasn't Mac's fault in his 2nd year. They had a DC calling offensive plays which was a disaster from the start. He now has a legit OC that will be solely be in his ear. If you give him a legit #1 WR, he could improve
Patricia would have found a way to make Brady look bad. Give the Mac another year
In Mac Jones’ last five games of his rookie year with Josh McDaniels, he threw for 6 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. Regression began while McDaniels was coaching him and continued through his entire second year.
Nuke is NOT going to NE with Bill O’Brien there. Lol.
They have 2 more years. 4 really if we include the tags. Granted, I’ve got 0 faith in the Pats OC, but if Bill builds a better team around him they’ll have more time to see what they actually have with Mac.
Patriots have Mac under contract for $3 million a year for 2 seasons…he had a bad season cause his 2 coaches were unqualified to be offensive coaches
Jacoby not for sure leaving
See what he looks like with a non defensive OC. I'm guessing he'll be better.
He can be a good quarterback but STOP the dirty plays, Mac🤨.
This is his 3rd OC in 3 years. He needs some consistency and some weapons
Bill O’Brien made Christian hackenberg a good college QB. Think what he can do with Mac.
Jones doesn't have the arm strength to push the ball down the field
Dude had a literal DC as his OC🤣 cut him some slack
Who can the Patriots get for next year who's head and shoulders above Mac?
Here we go our annual the pats will be good again. 😂😂😂
As a Pats fan, Mac deserves at least a year, even though I'm not convinced Bill O'Brian is that guy…
New England has done an awful job with Jones. O’Brien is a real offensive coach. Hopefully Mac isn’t already damaged beyond repair.
They should put Matt Patricia in at quarterback.
He needs weapons and a good offensive coach. Unfortunately I don’t see that happening this year either.
He needs another chance, but the problem with Mac Jones is he was never as good as the media thought he was.
He was the best in a bad rookie class, he was not transcendent.
Matt Patricia is the first person since Cosmo Kramer to get fired from a job that he wasn’t getting paid. 😂😂
As a dolphins fan I am begging for the Patriots to keep Jones
Trade for a veteran WR and give him one more year.. Draft a later round QB… say Jake Haener, Tanner McKee? Have a QB competition and see where the chips fall.
Mac not good enough for number one for Patriots. Bill loves Lamar Jackson.
Rich Mac lost the last 3 of 4 games of the season with Josh at OC and this past season he lost the last 4 of 5 games. He's not that good and he did great at check down throws thats it !
Mac Jones is a good QB in my opinion. He's more likely will become the next Alex Smith/Jimmy G type for the NFL. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Jones just doesn't have that star potential in terms his physical ability which every GM is looking for in today's NFL. But the guy is a starting caliber QB.
