John rahm and Steve stricker in seniors.. double for me had it couple weeks ago so doing it again
Max Homa my main bet at the Genesis
J Thomas 18/1 C Morikawa 22/1 C Young 33/1 SW KIM 100/1 J Vegas 250/1 bets for Genesis invitational
N HOJGAARD 20/1 K Higa 60/1 G Green 66/1 T Semikawa 70/1 H Long 90/1 C Sordet 125/1 bets for Thailand open
Rahm & Schefler coupled up with Mansell, Otaegui, Wu. I live in Thailand, albeit about 3 hours drive from Bangkok, very hot from midday onwards. The young single lads in the Thai Classic just keep away from the night hotspots, Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy, in Bangkok. Good Luck everyone.
I wasn't expecting Ossie Ardiles' Tottenham team to be mentioned!
Cheers guys great show as always, Steve I’m going to follow you in on Aphibarnrat just got 30/1 with Sky Bet.
bet on over 20 golfers last week and badly need a winner to clear debt. Had Valamacki and of course he lost by a shot. now Im in the shitter.
Great show as usual guys going to throw in Matty Fitz and Rickie Fowler with Steve's picks
My lad wrestled to escape my arms, and cried continuously. for about 3 years when we started cutting his hair. Best of luck!
I've got more into golf on the back of this podcast over time. Definitely one of the weekly highlights for sure!
I can't believe you weren't more impressed with The Scheff?! I thought he was imperious. Ultimate golf temperament. He'll take all the beating at the Masters again. Staggered he wasn't new fav
Fowler had a hole in one.
Chaps, what happened to the ‘others of note’ section in the reviews? I.e. the last ones off the list?
my picks this week are
Genesis Invitational – Cameron Champ E/W @ 300/1 (10 places E/W with Paddy Power)
Thailand Classic – Nacho Elvira E/W @ 250/1 (7 places E/W with Paddy Power)
Saudi Ladies International – Emily Kristine Pedersen E/W @ 175/1 (6 places E/W with Paddy Power)
Chubb Classic – Rocco Mediate E/W 175/1 (5 places E/W with Paddy Power)
The Maestro tips this week: Victor Hovland & Kiradech Aphibarnrat – get on quick!
Well said Bruce – the Sky commentary was lacklustre & yawnsome. Much preferred the US (CBS) coverage the previous week. Glad to be in agreement with Steve as already had a little bit on the Homa Barnrat trans-pacific ew double.
Totally agree with what Bruce said about Sky sports Golf commentary fucking brutal
Did rahm play the man rather than the course
Roz to be the boss. Antoine Rozner to win in Thailand. Playing well. Plus Steve tips as well. Good luck all.
wow what a moanfest by Bruce at the start!!
Steve, get hold of a streaming stick for LIV.
What are the two main bets for this two events
Steve in classic form
Rain predicted in and around Bangkok 16th & 17th Feb, not sure for how long but today in Bangkok very heavy rain.
this is for sure a great podcast helps get through a tuesday for sure
Great show again guys, can thoroughly recommend Steve's book Born to Punt.
Ossis Ardilies 5 man attack was known as the polo formation due to the massive hole in the middle.
Thanks boys
Dream Team in the house. Mr Burn's this week with a few longshots with 10 places available. Good luck one and all. Cheers
Hard call with Thailand lacking course form and Genesis full of champs, lots of varied opinions elsewhere Aphibamrat gets a selection with Joe Champion too, while favs N Hojgaard and Robert Mcintyre look maybe decent in a weaker field, Homa and Morikawa main Genesis selections with Homa plus Wyndham Clark getting good support elsewhere inc Racing and Football Outlook with Joe C.
Great show guys. Next week can we get your thoughts on Netflix series Full Swing!? I trust Steve will have finished it before end of Wednesday! 😂 p.s. I’m with Bruce on Migliozzi (50/1) at Thailand and Hoge/Harman (both 100/1) at the Genesis 👍
Norwegian broadcast is best in golf – thank god i'm from norway lol
Agree on the sky coverage, it’s gone downhill big time
Spot on re sky coverage. Worst presenters of any sport. Laura Davies and dour miserable coltart !
Nice views? Amata Spring is in the middle of an industrial estate.
Thanks guys . The pin has landed this week on Cantlay surely overpriced at 25-1, and Burns 30-1. Happy punting !
Excellent viewing as always chaps. My only addition this week is Sam Burns at 33-1. Still don’t think the bookies give him the respect he deserves. Have a good one, come on the Barn Rat!
Read Steve's article on first round leader, three balls and cut predictions. Disgusted with you Steve for tipping Tiger Woods to miss the cut at 1/2. Regardless of what happens today, that's an awful bet. Bookies were going 2/1 to make the cut. Playing with Rory & JT, surely that was worth the bet rather than an odds on shot
Can Steve give an explanation as to why there appear to be such a large number of Danish golfers performing to a consistently high level on the European Tour these days?
3rd round shout out for Oleson [after 6 holes]and Max homa[after 3rd round complete]-both leading at this juncture- top bombing Steve
Just binged watched the Netflix documentary. All a storm in a tee cup really I thought . (See what I did there 😁). Golfing ability aside , it dawned on me that most of the defectors are thoroughly arrogant and dislikable characters – spearheaded by the most dislikable of them all in Greg Norman , closely followed by Poulter , Mickleson , Cam Smith , Westwood, Koepka , Dechambeau (who admittedly didn’t feature ), G-Mac DJ etc . Compared to the “good guys” who you know are just generally good eggs whom you would love to have a beer with , and whom seem to uphold moral values in every day life which is reflected in their decision not to put the game that put then where they are today , over money . Spearheaded by Rory , Finau , Theegala , Joe Dahmen , Homa etc . The Joe Dahmen episode was very moving I thought , and what a top bloke . Would suggest that sitting through 8 episodes would only appeal to the purists . Bear , London .
Unfortunately only done your main tip but well done buddy 🎉
Thanks for the Ollsen pick. Got up to watch him Win. Love the 17 Boat hole. Genesis is next.
I followed the tips for the Thai tournament. Take a bow Mr Palmer. Thank you ☺️
Well done Steve. Win ✔️ 2nd ✔️ and I got a place with Rozner 💵💵💵
Good call on Thorbjorn! That's golf gambling—a win is huge, even if your four other picks are a T-70, a MC, a MC and a T-22. Gavin Green's been terrible, but I think I will keep sticking with him. He's eventually going to turn it around.
Oh Steve!!!! Take it u had the homa/olesen double?
Brilliant tipping Steve I'm delighted for you. Thomas pieters of to liv golf.
