  4. Truly sad news in complete shock
John Motson truly Amazing sports commentator I have great memories listening to his commentary on the old Fifa football games such an Awesome voice always loved reading the stats with commentating on the FA Cup finals World Cup finals and MOTD highlights for the BBC and also famous for wearing a sheepskin coat particularly the time at Wycombe with the snow just a proper brilliant nice man

RIP Motty true legend my thoughts with his family and friends ❤😢

  5. Early 2000 FIFA games made him an icon amongst my contemporaries 😇

  6. Motson was Match of the Day. He will be sorely and dearly missed. What an incredible football commentator and an incredible human being. The sheepskin coat, the funny warmth and incredible vast knowledge of the game. Literally second to none. England has not only lost another national treasure, the world lost one of the all-time greats in football commentary. Thoughts and condolences with his family.

  7. I used to think it was weird when he wasn't commentating tbh. Didn't have the same feel to it.

  8. Alan Parry a great commentator, never let his love for Liverpool, cause bias in his commentary. Unlike Mr Tyler when doing United games. Motty was brilliant on MOTD. Always gave great stats and good quips. He will be missed….the sheepskin coat is forever retired.
