What I like about the one hour of power special is it gives me plenty of time to bust multiple nuts instead of the usual 1
Good job Chad, what type putter are you using ?
I'm still watching this and I'm at the shot that is preceded by the "no country for old men" parable 😁. That shot brings to mind what sometimes turns around a game of golf for me. A good shot out of trouble. I think the reason is, a well defined objective. Example: A high draw around the top of a tree through a narrow gap. My focus seems to move to the shot and away from the swing.
Great video so far!
You should add first and last putt distances to your in game stats, this will help you understand what to work on with improving your putting along with pitching and chipping which is where scoring made
Great content! Man I really enjoy your videos sir!
An honest, warts ' n all vlog. Much appreciated. Conditions like that are super hard to navigate. Ball striking is king. Loved the long form video, Chad. Great stuff!
Well, you referenced "No Country …. " which is one of my favorites and then immediately made a very cool birdie so you're gold in my mind 🙂 I don't know where this video stood in your recent swing evolution (I'm guessing fairly recent) but I saw some things that were about the best that I've seen in certain respects.
You lined up right on some of the best swings ( more so with longer clubs ) but you had some of the best approaches into the ball that I've seen in terms of plane from the top, holding the angle, and turning through the ball in syncronization with your arm swing. It seem like you were aiming right because you somewhat don't trust it yet so the rightward aim seemed like a bit of a safeguard against over the top. You also seemed a little stuck between swings which is to be expected given the duration of certain habits that you're dealing with.
All in all a very respectable effort with all of the production aspects, swing changes, and course condition elements that were in play. Enjoyed it. Cheers.
Do you ever go out there just to golf? What I mean, relax with no score card, don't over think anything, block everything out and just take it shot by shot for what it gives you moving the ball towards the final drop into the cup to end the round.
Enjoyed that my friend. Thanks for doing it even in those conditions. Hope you are getting what your looking for from your new journey. Eager to see you get confidence and some decent conditions. I know score is not always the indicator but that is how the game is played and I have seen you shoot some decent scores, eager to see you get those and better.
Not course management but self management…no finer words could be said on conditions that you played in ….like it is in the south right now ….or any other times you will play
Control
us / mind and the game has a better chance to end on a good note
Adaptation to conditions is the survival mode that must be made and hopefully made quickly
Slush on bro 😎 dryer days are here soon … I hope
That was a hawk and it means he is probably hungry Chad. I don't get into your broke back tv programs either. Pfffff ! City people. Pretty good putting.
Enjoying the journey 👍🏌️
Managing expectations. I love it! Great video. Patience works better than panic.
Congrats on remaining focused in trying conditions difficult to pull off.
Always enjoy your honesty about your golf game, so refreshing. I've played with too many people who tell me they hit their driver 280 – 300 yards and over the course of 18 holes, they may hit it 230. Their scores also tell on them, usually 10 – 15 stokes higher than they said. Their excuse is always, I had a bad day. Granted, we all have bad days, some more frequently than others, but, you can always tell if the person is actually better than they're playing just by watching them strike the ball. Again, thanks for sharing the inside of your game with us all that takes courage. Cheers.
Love the vid 👍👍
