Hope everyone had a good Christmas and New year! Back now and got some interesting updates coming 😬
Happy New Year Simon 🎉 Looking forward to a special year for you and your channel wishing you the best mate
I've been a Titleist guy for well over 25 years. I go back to the 975D driver. I've tried them all every time I'm looking to upgrade. Time and time again I come back to Titleist. I tested the SIM 2 against my 909D driver and honestly very little difference in ball speed. Spin numbers and height were the only difference. I tried the TSi3 against my 909D and well I saw a fairly decent jump in ball speed and spin dropped. So guess who won out again. That's my own personal experience. If I had to choose any of the Taylormade drivers I would choose the Sim. It has the adjustable sliding weight. I think it has more adjustability with that. Same reason I went with the TSi3. I think adjustability is a big selling point and allows consumers to fine tune their respective equipment to themselves.
I bought a stealth at the end of August 2022 and was to busy to use it on a round so its still brand new,,what should I be asking for it?
That sim2 looks incredible imo
None Simon. Im still waiting for a driver to out perform the cobra f9 speedzone. Unreal driver .
I picked up a second hand M6 start of the year and it was such a good purchase. Not the most forgiving but it definitely goes some.
Good good has signed for Callaway.
I'm currently using the ping g driver and love it but I do like the look of the sim max. So might start saving up for one 🤔
I think the good good collaboration with callaway is going to make their brand skyrocket with younger golfers . Will be giving Taylormade some competition
Do any of these beat the 2016 M2?
Currently use the Taylormade m4 driver absolutely love it but I will hopefully get the current stealth when the new version comes out due to yardage as my driver is old old now. I never buy new I got the new TM spider gt putter 7 months after release for £100 cheaper🤷🏻♂️
I am still using a Taylormade M5 driver. Love it. They make great clubs
I love my sim2 driver and all the new tech doesn't justify changing when there really isn't any difference in performance but I am struggling to find a sim2 5 wood 😤
Just bought a SIM 2 with kuro kage shaft
The Stealth wasn't on my radar.
I would be embarrassed to have a taylormade head cover in my bag let alone this new over hyped same old same old junk.
I was in a retail golf store yesterday talking to one of the staff, and I told him I was watching a YouTube test that included the Stealth driver and the tester had the face fly right off. This guy carries the ball 315 yards so he is a slugger. The guy in the store then told me that retailers are getting a lot of the Stealth drivers returned from damage during use. Seems all is not right with Stealth.
I've had a few M2 2017 drivers in the recent past and always loved them but got rid of them. I just acquired a 2017 M2 driver in very good shape with an Oban Devotion 5 03 flex shaft in a trade. I basically paid when the dust settled 95.00 for it. It is wonderful. I honestly don't think there is a better driver before or since than the M2….
Your Taylormade comments are certainly valid. But to add to your "good value" perspective there are still some Wilson Cortex Drivers available for around $200 USD, including some new ones. An excellent club that competes with the "Big Boys" for a relatively bargain price. I got me one…..
hoping for some long drive in 2023😀
