Despite the economic market crash,I'm so happy. I have been earning $45,850 returns from my $8,000 investment every 14 days.
3:15 "Never hit towards the trouble." Really? Stating the obvious! 😆
Range finder on these types of courses with very little to guage distances is vital. Even fairway markers are tough to trust without the second source of info. Awesome to see u back playing golf.
Gotta be a Rick, Matthew, Peter and Andy Carter match with all of you currently in country???
I have learnt to imbrace my tour fade as I like to call it👍🍻🙃
Some great tips as always I've watched you play a lot of golf with Fryer and Finch. So do well with animals 😂. Hope your daughter is continuing to get better and stronger
so many words
I'd like to see a more in-depth tutorial on actually reading the lie. Because I feel like I pick up these course management tips from the commentators watching professional golf, but they always talk about "flier" lies and oh its into grain this chip so it'll be hard to strike it well. So I feel like I've heard these things but I have no clue what a flier lie actually looks like to be able to recognize when I have one, and therefore I should be cautious of the unexpected +10 yards if it jumps and comes out with low spin.
Good one, Andy, thank you. Just at the right time for me, with the course management. I have been struggling with the driver recently and hooking a few. It has got to the stage where I now drive off with a Hybrid or Fairway Wood if the are trees down the left. I am 23.3 handicap from my last three rounds so very nearly playing bogey golf, so it matters for me at the mo'. Interesting shot you played with the 9 Iron. I used to do pitch and run with a 7 or 8 iron if there is nothing in front. But trying to get closer to the hole with wedges at the moment, hence the question to you the other night. Thanks again.
Love the tip about trusting your read on the greens….I have struggled with lining up the put then standing over it and doubting it….glad to see you back on the course as well!
Hi Carter, great course management video. I am massively struggling with my mental game atm. As soon as I have one or two bad holes my game goes to pot. Played my worse round yesterday since I started 2 years ago. A tip video on the mental game would be good 👍🏻
Golf is hardest for me when I’m fighting my ego, I know I should pull an iron off some tees but always end up with a driver in my hands! Great videos, would looooove to see you and finch play a serious 18 hole match while you’re back in the UK for the summer!
I would of been the same with the horse! Great video Andy.
Hi as a high handicapper I heard slot about the different degrees of wedges. I have a standard set of pitching wedge, 55 sandwedge and a 52 wedge. Do I need different ones, should I get another one or are the ok. Can you advise. Thank you Adrian
Great video Andy, these have really helped me manage my game. Something that's happened to me this weekend, is coming off the back of two of the best rounds I've ever played (high teens), I had two absolute disasters this weekend. Hitting the shaft, slicing it, topping it, everything falling apart on any shots more than a chip.
how do you take a step back, calm yourself and get back on track?
After years of lessons and hundreds of pounds spent your coaching has helped take 10 shots off my game… thanks Andy.. you rock! Congrats on your baby too buddy!
Thanks Andy! this is exactly what I need to practice, just what I need to get into my head to understand the game better. I can often stand on the tee-box and feel like "I have to hit the fairway" or for play and "have to hit the green" when I really should be evaluating the hole's characteristic at every single point.
Hey Andy, I saw you in Barnstaple high street on Saturday, you were actually parked just behind us! Was gunna say hello but you were with your family so didn’t want to interrupt. If you get the chance to before you leave would love to see you have some holes at saunton, I’m sure Albert in the pro shop would be very welcoming! They had crossfield around there a while ago and he butchered it so be good to see some decent content around there! 😂😂
5:40 I didn't think I'd be learning about sheep today. Lol definitely don't want to go in there man haha we'd have to get you a sheep headcover if you did that. Itd be etched in legends for the remainder of time lol
awesome Andy great lesson
That bump and run shot from off the green was something to neigh at. Glad to see you back in the saddle again. Great lesson on not trying to gallop through your game but keeping things at a controlled trot. And to not be afraid to grab the reins again if you get thrown off. (Was that enough horse puns?) 😂
Thanks as always Mr. Carter!
Hope you and your family are doing great good sir!!!!
Course management
1 Grip it
2 Rip it
3 Find it
4 Wedge it on
5 Finish hole
Oh forgot that's in America in rest of world play properly. If you know how aim point works that would be cool video brilliant as always Mr Carter 🏌♂️⛳👍
Hi Andy. Just want to say you have some great content. You asked in this vlog what we would like to see. For me, I’d like to see you take a mid to high handicap golfer around the course to help him understand course management.
Nice video. I've been playing golf for just over 2 years and have managed to get my handicap down from 25 to 20. Course management is all about staying out of the rough or clattering your balls too long and they end up in the bushes. Avoid hitting your ball into bunkers, lakes or someone's back garden if you are playing a residential course. Follow these simple rules and you can't go wrong. Good luck. Johnny Muscles.
Does a links course just mean no trees not a tree in sight there looks like a cracking course
