I compare two golf irons in the players category, the new TaylorMade P7MC against the Titleist T100….both golf clubs having 34 degrees of loft, forged heads but one iron might have the edge over the other with some extra technology and help!

Which part is forged the club head or the face or is it like my Wilson staff tour blades the whole thing is one piece that's a real forged club. This should be called 'semi forged' face, head or whatever? Cannot be fully forged if it is hollow. Is that à fraudulent description? Only asking .
The Tours have spoken by making the more tech version, the T100 & T100s far more popular. I was honestly surprised by this release by Taylormade that they didn't bring back / update the 760 which was more like the T100&s with technology but still a player's club. The P7MC is a niche club, like the older Titleist CB – which almost no one plays and I believe Titleist is discontinuing (could be wrong). Mizuno's attempt is the 223 – but I still think the T100s wins here
Great comparison and video as always.
The Taylormade is gorgeous what an amazing looking iron !
Perhaps the 770 is a better match to the T100 ?
Taylormade did use the tungsten in P750s but went away from it in the P7MCs.
Thanks Michael, It was kind of an obvious outcome, I think T100 is a better match to p770 and 620 cb a better match to p7mc. Would certainly like to see those comparisons.
I play T100 and cant imagine ever switching, they are so pure feeling and very forgiving for their size. Great video!
I'm not a TM Iron fan. so it would be the Titleist for me every time
I can't see a situation where I'd ever game Taylormade anything. Nothing from them ever suits my eye at address for some reason.
taylormade just always seems to come up a little short of the mark , if you want a great players club go titleist or mizuno if you want a great marketing company then go with taylormade.
I moved out of the Taylormade PM7MC's and into Titleist T100s in June Michael.
I never struggled with the longer irons in the PM7MC's but the T100s longer irons are way more forgiving and you're not giving up much in terms of feel and workability. The T series are a great iron range. I've got a T200 2 iron in the bag which is money.
Nice comparison. I prefer the ZX7 over both.
Should have done the MC vs. Titleist CB
All these clubs are playing catchup to the one and only Wilson Staff CB. Yes, these clubs are nice, but the Wilson Staff CB stands above them all. A true Forged club through-and-through!
The P7 MC compares to the Titliest 620 CB so your comparing two different iron classes the T100 has tec and ideally should be compared to the new P770.
I think you should compare apples with apples. Should have had 770 to compare
Made review irrelevant.
Far greater variation between Taylormade & Titleist when you look at highest & lowest number in each category, wish this was highlighted more in reviews. Good to bear in mind if warmed up 1st mind as if not then the 2nd club may be hit better
Spinrate, Height and landing angle, for me would be the MC
I saw more consistent striking with the TM. The Titty isn't solid forged if it has tungsten in it. And the pros like all the things you mentioned in the beginning of your vid and one other thing you forgot to mention. Feedback. Very important. The tungsten will take away from that very important feature that comes from a 100% solid forged finger ringing iron. It is better to know what you did wrong than to get away with it. I play Srixon CB's so I have no stake or bias. The ZX7's. Having come from Super GI to players GI then to these ZX7's, I can honestly say that having the feedback has made me a much better and consistent ball striker. It teaches you to hit the sweet spot. Being in love with the feel motivates me.
Great pick. I don't have enough game and wish Titleist made a T150s 😅
These clubs are 2 different animals, nowhere near the same. T100 is a tech iron, while the P7MC is a classic blade with a cavity.
Have T100 definitely interested in the mc’s
