85% of bad shots are caused by this! HOW DO YOU HOLD THE GOLF CLUB? SQUARE THE CLUBFACE… How you are holding the golf club is really effecting where your club face is pointing at impact in relation to your club path a WEAK grip can promote a SLICE ands a strong grip can promote a hook golf shot. this aim of your grip is to allow you to have a good consistent golf swing and face to path relationship.

Hold and grip the golf club correctly for LONGER straighter drives and pure strike on your irons with less curvature

most golfers that play and are members of a golf club don’t have the athleticism of the likes of Tiger Woods and Bryson De Chambeau so we have to make sure ew are moving in the correct way to the best of our ability use the arms and the body to slingshot the arm around the body and put less swing speed in but hit LONGER straighter drives. But one thing we can all control is how we hold the golf club with IRONS and driver and what impact this has on the club face being square at address

THIS driver GOLF GRIP swing tip is simple and easy to understand for all levels of golfers that will allow you to hit the golf ball longer and find the centre of the club face more often allowing you to hit longer straighter drives more often

  1. Well done alex 🏌‍♂️ 🙂 👍 the way you grip the club does matter I have my right hand over the top abit too much

  2. Alex, why not upload one video per week. One per day does not give any time to evaluate or if necessary try what you are promoting.

  3. I'm a number 3. Going back to video now to see how I get crushed. Okay .. so I don't feel so bad.

  4. keep these videos coming I watch them daily for the tips, absolutely class instruction, easy to listen to and comprehend.

    great style of instruction 👌👌👌

  5. What is the dominant arm in the golf swing I'm right handed should the left arm stay straight?

  6. Great video. We hear so much about grip pressure. Does getting the V’s correct help with grip pressure. I would appreciate a video on the dreaded shank which I’ve developed. All the suggestions from my friends just make it worse

  7. Hi Alex, I am gripping the Club (driver) as you suggest but still hitting high straight shots with short distance any ideas for a fix? Thanks Terry

  8. Thanks Alex. I’ve been trying to figure out the cause of my occasional snap hook. I’ll be much more mindful of my right hand.

  9. I have been slicing and hooking all year until last week. I switched to a baseball grip and I am hitting right down the middle.

  10. Great tip when I walk my dog I hold his lead in my fingers put a golf club in my hand I develop memory loss and go back to what I have always done but I will keep practicing

  11. Good Morning Alex, Great video. One question which direction should your left wrist be pointing towards when both V's are pointing towards your right shoulder. I'm that guy who's drivers shot's hook right…. 😆

  12. Bwahahahahaha – I think I have bigger problems then – even with the ideal grip I still hit it like grip number 1 (strong) – and I make extra sure all the time to ensure that the grip is correct. Awesome video's Mr Elliott – you have sure helped me a lot in other aspects so kudos to you Sir and please continue

  13. I use a neutral overlap grip. The coach I'm working with called it the Vardon grip – he's an old school position coach. He has helped me tremendously. I do still hit a bit of a slice now. I had fixed that and turned it to a draw – some times I would hook it.
I do have a LOT of trouble with the driver though.
