July 1998: I’m ashamed to post this because the video quality is horrible, but for the hardcore LPGA enthusiasts, we join the TV coverage near the end of round 4 Sunday. Se-Ri Pak, age 20, has never won a regular Tour event, but is playing for her second consecutive victory at a major. Jenny C, also age 20, is a little-known amateur. Conditions at Blackwolf Run (in Kohler, Wisconsin) are difficult.

Thank you so much for posting this! I remember being huddled up in my Aunt's living room, rooting on Jenny, and jumping for joy when she sank her miracle putt!
youngest two major winner. GREAT!!!
On that weekend I became one of Jenny's biggest fans. I grew up 25 miles from Kohler. I now live in California. My daughter was a golf prodigy. It drove me to save to send my daughter to Duke. I still remember the shot Se Re made from the water. For as great as Se Re became, I can never forget Jenny's poise, class and last but not least her reaction when she dropped the 40ft put on the 18th in regulation.

The call of DAN HICKS & JOHNNY MILLER is just as memorable as Jenny's incredible putt…. One of golf's greatest MOMENTS !
Jenny was electric and so
Much easier to root for. Pak was robotic and all business, hardly cracked a smile. Wasn’t meant to be for Jenny but I rooted so hard for her because she seemed very sweet.
