Can your wired VR headset do THIS!?
There are no dumb ideas, just new exciting difficulty modifiers! Was it cold? Yes. Will I do it again? Absolutely. Playing Beat Saber outside is definitely something I’ll keep doing, and I’m sure I can set up some more creative angles with the drone once I have time to fiddle with it without freezing my fingers off! The cold, mixed with winds strong enough to make the drone constantly complain about strong winds was..once again.. painful.
Recorded in Sundsvall, Sweden – Switching between recording under a bridge and on a mountain top on the other side of town. Turned out more scenic than I thought. Kinda forgot this was a Beat Saber video while editing!
Filmed with a DJI Mavic Air, quickly cut together in Sony Vegas and uploaded in 60fps even though the Quest footage is like.. 24fps. Looks somewhat neat anyway though, right?
The map played is B L A C K – R A Y by Camellia (Yes, with underscores between each letter) with the Faster Song modifier on. I can definitely get a better score, but passing it felt like enough of an achievement. This thing is crazy.

Played on the Oculus Quest. In my opinion the best way to experience VR right now. Add “UncouthPanda” on Oculus if you want someone to compete with in the official high scores!
