Do THIS to break 90 ⬇️

Your first time breaking 90 is A HUGE accomplishment in the game of golf. Here are some keys:

1️⃣ You’ll need to play the appropriate tees. Too many golfers are trying to play from TOO FAR of a distance. A good rule of thumb is to take how far you hit your 5 iron and multiply it by 36. That’s your recommended 18 hole yardage!

2️⃣ ONE SWING THOUGHT is plenty for a round of golf – pick what thought you’re going with that day and stick with it. Do NOT change it up mid round. Your ball flight will become less predictable and erratic.

3️⃣ Practice SHORT PUTTS (inside 5 ft) and LONG PUTTS (25+ footers). We need to be SOLID inside 5 feet and avoid 3 putts at all costs!

4️⃣ If you have a bunker shot, your objective is TO GET OUT!

5️⃣ AVOID penalty shots at ALL COSTS – if you’re in trouble off the tee GET OUT of trouble – get back in play and avoid big numbers! BOGEY/DOUBLE AVOIDANCE is more important than making birdies.

6️⃣ Holes where you CHIP TWICE are NOT acceptable. One chip per hole MAX – get that chip or pitch on the green.

If you can follow these few keys, I guarantee you’ll be shooting lower and getting closer to breaking 90 next time you play golf. TAG ME in your scorecards!! 👊
