Bellville – It was a beautiful day for the 3rd annual Lady Colt Classic, where 13 teams would compete at Little Apple Golf Course in Bellville.

Marion Pleasant would come out out top with a score of 303 and beat runner-up Centerburg (323) by 22 strokes. Pleasant, a first-year girls golf program, also placed two individuals with Dina Shah taking medalist honors by shooting a 64 and runner-up Maura Murphy fired a a 70.

Fredericktown placed third with a 356, while Vermilion was fourth with a 362. 

St. Mary Central Catholic took fifth with a 364, with Ontario ending the day with a 374, St. Paul totaled 377, Highland 381, Clear Fork 388 and Galion 391. Northmor  placed 11th with a 402, Crestview had a 428 and Mansfield Senior 513.

Centerburg was led by Amaiah Gammell who shot a 76, Avery Glenn posted a 78, Sami Bright 84, Kayren Beard 87, Ella Paul 93, and Olivia Griffith had a 106 for a team total of 323

Clear Fork’s Brooke Beer would continue her strong season with a 79, while teammates Katie Conrad and Cleo Craw would each end the day with a 110 for a total of 388 strokes from the defending champions.

Ontario’s Brooklynn Adkins paced the Warriors with a 72, Brooklynn Wharton had a 109, Maddie Seibel 91, and Samantha Fraley shot a 102.

​Braelyn Ingles lead the Northmor Knights with a 95 while Brooklyn Kissling & Katelyn Miley both scored 98’s, and Katie Dean ended her day with a 111.

​Elyse Belcher led the Crestview Cougars with an 89, Averi Dunivan fired a 107, Kennedy Snyder 111, Sam Metz 121, and Tiarra Magers 139.
