A presentation of how to take a correct grip on a kitchen knife. A stable and efficient grip on a knife will make working with a knife much more safe and prevent the user from accidentally injuring him/herself. A safe grip would also promote more efficient use of the knife and thus make working with the knife more fun.
Here we present different grips used with western type and Japanese type knives.
