We played our Club Championship at Shaughnessy over the weekend. The greens were running at 13 on the stimpmeter and today they’re still lightning fast. I don’t usually play the tips at over 7,000 yards, and it was a tough test of golf. A lot of things went my way in this round and I carded a 5-over 78, good for a 2.7 differential and the 3rd best of my golf career. It didn’t look pretty, but I managed to keep my ball in play off the tee, scramble well, and make a handful of birdie putts, all of which helped contribute to a sub-80 round. I hope you enjoy following along!
