This is an excellent band training exercise to open up chest and shoulders. It’s also a great shoulder mobility exercise that helps create sometimes needed space when the pectorals are short and tight. Safely anchor band above waist line area. Start with band in both hands in front of the body and at shoulder height and shoulder width apart. Sweep band overhead to chest level. Contract and activate chest muscles followed by a stretch. Perform 2-3 flex to stretch contractions and then sweep band back to starting position.
