Some putting surfaces have hills and valleys, a circular nature, really steep, slope upward or downward, difficult pins placement( front, middle and back) and the greens can be fast or slow depending on the type of grass and cut

I work really hard on making lag putts. I don’t worry about short distances. I consider those to be gimmies.
