GAA | Tommy Walsh’s hurling Team of the Year, Tony Kelly hurling’s CR7?

Tommy Walsh joined Eoin Sheahan for the GAA OTB Sports’ annual All-Star awards.

Walsh gave his thoughts on Gearoid Hegarty, who he chose as his hurling Player of the Year, and the impact he has made within an awesome Limerick side.

He also discussed Clare’s Tony Kelly, describing the skilful forward as hurling’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

Walsh then touched on the heart that Tadhg de Burca has shown this year in dealing with heartbreaking injuries.

Finally, the Kilkenny hurling legend analysed what it will take for other counties to prevent Limerick returning next year and repeating their championship success.
