George Harper Jnr brings you Against The Grain, A golfer’s diary of the World Handicap System. In the first episode of our new series George takes on the famous Old Course while trying to get to grips with the new system.
During the first episode George learns more about The World Handicap System, how it affects his target score based on the tees he has played off and the difficulty of the course. Outside of the ropes George has help from R&A Handicap team member Kevin Weir and inside he has fellow Kiwi and St Andrews caddie Dan Elder to guide him around the Home of Golf.
