Beginner’s Guide to golf
Daily Golf Tips
As much as I love shooting a low Round of golf. This fantastic Round at Scarlett Woods was bittersweet. I know that it’s unlikely that I will shoot another Round like that for quite some time. First off it happened at the end of the Golf Season in Canada. Which means I won’t be playing another qualified Round of Golf for at least 6 months. Chances are my skills will diminish some before I play again. Secondly this Round relied on a fair amount of luck. A little luck helps, but this was a lot. Lastly I have never shot anywhere close to that well before, so it wasn’t a fair representation of my ability.
Having said all that it was an amazing Round of Golf, and it gave me a glimpse of what I am capable of if I am able to tighten up the loose areas of my game. There is nothing more motivational in Golf than hitting great golf shots. The greatest motivation occurs when you hit so many during a single Round. I wish the Golf Season was another month longer so I could try and build on this moment.
For now I will focus on the basics during our long off season, and hopefully next year courses won’t be as affected by the Covid-19 situation as they were this year.
