We begin our round at Sand Valley with the 1st through 6th holes on the course. Sand Valley was founded on the dream of bringing incredible, public golf to the prehistoric sand dunes of central Wisconsin. Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw began designing the routing in 2014 and opened Sand Valley, the resort’s first course, in 2017. They gave us massive and exposed sand dunes, firm and fast fairways, and a multitude of strategic playing options. Sand Valley is fun and playable, but can be set up to provide a serious challenge.

Having played all of the courses at Bandon Dunes, this course would fit right in there. Beautifully designed and challenging to play. It was well worth the trip!
