For those of you who always hit the ball thin with your 3-wood when you come through, you need to feel like you can take a divot past impact position. 

You need to put the ball further back in the stance so it feels like your hands are ahead of the ball, so when you come down, you will have a higher attack angle with the face feeling more shut.
