One of the most common questions we’ve received in comments is about the golf balls we use to test, particularly when we’ve used range balls. Well, we decided to find out. In this test, 2nd Swing’s Drew Mahowald and Thomas Campbell compared a driving #range ball to a premium #golf #ball (Callaway Chrome Soft X) using Trackman technology.
The goal was to see if there’s any significant distance in what a golfer might see on the range and what they see when playing their gamer golf ball on the course. The results might surprise you!
