Wilson Golf’s Director of Golf Club Innovation, Jon Pergande, explores the technology behind the Wilson D7 Forged irons. These Wilson irons are a combination of distance, feel and precision. The Power Holes built into the sole of the golf club take advantage of the iron’s carbon steel construction and increase ball speed and distance by increasing efficient energy return when the club face comes in contact with the golf ball. There is also a urethane-filled Power Chamber on the back of the iron that comes up the clubface about halfway that helps players gain incredible feel while the extra distance technology is at work.
