We saw some unbelievable golf at both Royal Birkdale and West Lancs. Stand out performance of the day however goes to Emily Toy who despite having to go to extra holes in both of her matches, comes through to the semi-finals and is primed to defend her title as Women’s Amateur Champion.
If she succeeds she will be the first person since 1972 to retain the title.
