CHRONICLES OF A NOT YET CHAMPION GOLFER #89 : Custom fitting my new clubs at home
Following on from my What’s In The Bag video, this week I’m checking that the loft and lie are set up correctly for me. I wasn’t able to go for a full club fitting given the current restrictions, but you can check that custom fit clubs are set up correctly at home.
My main focus here is the lie of the club which can have a really big effect on the direction of the ball flight. I’ve always been a standard lie but given that Wilson Golf are a new brand for me and I have made swing changes over the past couple of seasons, it will be interesting to see the results. It’s also a great way to see how well you are striking it.
