THE 7 MINUTE SPORTS DAILY E4:

Just when you thought someone else other than Brooks Koepka was going to win the PGA Championship Koepka appears to be peaking at the right time once again.

Let’s just say Koepka had his patent-pending stoic look of determination in full mode throughout his first round of the 2020 PGA Championship from TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. He finished the round with an impressive 4-under, 66, and left himself in the perfect position to go for his third PGA Championship in a row.

Koepka used his version of Zoolander’s “blue steel” look for the entire first round which helped him stay focused on the job at hand, beating down Bryson DeChambeau. Clearly, he didn’t use “the look” two weeks ago in Minnesota when he missed the cut at the 3M Championship.
