Speed is the FIRST thing all new disc golfers look at when buying discs. Every golfer wants to throw further, so when we see distance drivers, we immediately think the disc will go further. In theory, that is correct. In reality, not so much. The speed rating of a disc is a difficult thing to understand, especially for beginners.
