WHICH 3-WOOD WILL PERFORM BETTER?! Today I’m comparing my Taylormade M4 3-Wood High Launch to the newest model, Taylormade SIM Max. I have to be honest – I love my M4 High Launch 3-Wood and it’ll take quite a bit to get me to make a switch. I’ve struggled with 3-woods in the past, and am curious to see how the Taylormade SIM Max stacks up. My M4 HL is 16.5 degrees, while the SIM Max is only 15 degrees, yet the two clubs seemed to perform very similarly. If anything, I think what really draws me in to the SIM Max is it’s beautiful matte finish and it’s comparability to the M4 HL without a change in degree.
