THE air has been cleared about whether Kai Trump removed boos from an Instagram post she shared about her and President Donald Trump at the Knicks game.
Kai, 19, joined her grandfather for Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Monday, where the crowd booed the president as he was shown on the big screen.

Kai shared a video of her standing alongside Trump during the national anthem at the high stakes game between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs, where some members of the crowd booed as the duo appeared on screen.
“Thank you to 15SOF for capturing this special moment with my Grandpa,” she captioned the post.
Social media users were quick to point out that the audio of the video on her Instagram sounded like the crowd was cheering.
“Had to change the audio because you know nobody likes your grandpa. I’d cry,” one person wrote in the comments.

“Editing the boos out is crazy work,” another Instagram user chimed in.
“Girl your face says it all lmao!! Grandpa & u were BOOED,” said another.
Kai appeared to smirk as the boos rang out.
But the company behind the video, 15 Seconds of Fame, has spoken out, telling Page Six, they make edits before they send out videos, so they were the ones who changed the audio.
15SOF told the outlet that they use AI software to identify people who are shown on the jumbotron or stadium screens.
“The video shared by Kai Trump on Instagram was exactly the clip delivered by 15SOF to her account on our app and at no time did she request that any audio be altered, enhanced, replaced, or otherwise manipulated,” a company spokesperson said.
“Due to various broadcast, licensing, and contractual restrictions, 15SOF frequently cannot distribute original event audio and instead utilizes automated alternate contextual audio tracks as part of our content-delivery process.
“The audio selection process is entirely automated and is not directed by individual users.
“Like every video we share with users from around the world — whether epic, historic, or (in this case as Ms. Trump described it) ‘nostalgic’ moments between a granddaughter and her grandfather — we are proud to deliver these once-fleeting moments back to fans and preserve memories that otherwise would have been lost forever.”
On Wednesday, just one day after facing backlash over the Knicks game video, Kai shared a short clip on her Instagram story of her golf comeback.
Kai, the daughter of Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr., showed off her golf swing in the video, writing “My first 5 wood since November.”
A 5-wood is a type of golf club that is typically used for long distance shots.

The 19-year-old, who will be heading to Miami University to join the women’s golf team, underwent surgery in January after suffering an injury to her left wrist.
Kai revealed at the time that she had a long road to recovery with months of rehab.
“I am excited for the ability to play golf pain free!” she said on Instagram.
Kai made her pro debut at the Ladies Professional Golf Association in November, where she had a tough start, shooting 13-over-par 83.
15SOF did not immediately respond to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.
