How much better would you score if a 3x PGA Tour Winner caddied for you? I went to Holston Hills Country Club with Scott Stallings to find out.
Scott Stallings rose to a career high of 53rd in the world rankings thanks to more than a decade of world class play on the PGA Tour, punctuated with wins at the 2011 Greenbrier Classic, The 2012 True South Classic and the 2014 Farmers Insurance at Torrey Pines.
Such an impressive trophy cabinet should make you exempt from caddying for washed up mini tour players, but apparently not. Last month he had the burden of ushering me round 9 holes at his beautiful home course in Tennessee, a Donald Ross design that has remained largely untouched since it was opened 100 years ago.
