GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Good news for disc golfers in Goodlettsville: The Mansker Creek course is officially reopened for play.
According to the City of Goodlettsville, the course was temporarily closed while North Creek Park served as a temporary staging area for debris from the January winter storm.

Additionally, the city said the course sustained some damage from trees and limbs during the storm and needed repairing before it reopened.
The 18-hole course was officially dedicated in August 2025. Designed specifically with beginners and families in mind, the disc golf course offers a low-stress introduction to the sport, per the city.
While the course was officially dedicated in August, the course was “unofficially” available for players to use as early as May 2025.

The process to bring disc golf to Goodlettsville was a year-and-a-half long, community-led process, according to Senior Director of Public Services Sarah Jennings. She told News 2 a group of disc golfers come and present to the board of parks and recreation about the desire for a course. Shortly after, the city approved a funding request for a course in its capital projects budget.
