18 Handicap Simulator Golf
Sim Wars at Tameus Golf Village
In this episode of Cobe Life Simulator Golf Sim Wars, Manny and I battle it out at Golf Wing in Markham Ontario on the Golfzon Simulator. We are both 18 Handicap Golfers so we play from the Whites. Gimmie putt distance is set at just over 10 feet, and we each get 2 mulligans. If you are unfamiliar with the strengths of our games, it’s important to know. Manny is quite long off the Tee for a Bogey Golfer. He is also quite accurate when hitting Pitch shots with his Wedges from about 40 to 75 yards. I am in the middle of a Driver set up and swing change so I’m sketchy off the Tee. The strength of my game is on and around the Green. Putting is a little awkward in a Simulator but a clean straight stroke does help. Chipping is where I tend to save the most strokes in a Simulator.
We played a full 18 holes of Stroke play but I selected a few key holes that determined the eventual outcome. Our strategies were very different due to the strengths of our games. I generally want to finish a Simulator Round of Golf with a score that’s lower than my actual Handicap. When you factor in the free putts and hitting off a mat, you should shoot under par.
This is one of my longer videos but it does demonstrate some key situations that occur during a Round.
