His ‘pitching wedge’ is the shaft length of a 6 iron and has about 40°of loft. It’s like a long, strong-lofted 9 iron.
Rory actually hits further if you adjust for length and loft.
Lofts are 3 degrees stronger at least on every iron. But still not bad at all

His clubs are lofted extremely strong. You can’t compare his distances to anyone else’s. His 3 wood is like 10 degrees which is the same as a lot of people’s driver

Well I mean his 7 iron is lofted at fuckin 25 degrees. Which can be lower than even some standard 5 irons so some companies that’s a 4 iron some it’s a 5 iron.
Also he hits his PW 170 cuz the loft is lower and the shaft is higher. Kinda dumb to go based on the name of the wedge instead of degrees.
