The Best Golf Swings Combine Speed And Space

  1. In the golf swing, a lot of forces naturally move toward the ball because we want to create speed and compression.

But real progress happens when you also learn the forces moving away from the ball.

    Why?

Because great ball striking is a balance between the club accelerating toward the ball and the body creating space for the club to move through impact.

When you combine both, speed and space, your clubface stays square for longer through impact and your direction control improves massively.

A great feel for this is to feel more like a squat in the downswing instead of standing up. This helps your body avoid moving too much toward the ball and also helps shallow the club naturally.

If you want to learn this together with other golfers, comment “Coaching” and if you want that, I will send you the link to my training platform where golfers improve their game together with Sandra Gal and me.
